ERitzFoto (aka: The ShutterSquirrel)

ERitzFoto is a sudo-name or "alternate personality" behind LS Studios, LTD.

I began my photography career simply as a hobby to break free of a tumultuous time in my life. As it turned out, I kinda had a knack and was quickly welcomed by fellow photographers and industry participants.
I quickly found that my "original name", IchthysPhoto, was a bit of a mouth full for others and difficult to tell others to spell. I sought something easier and came up with ERitzFoto, a play on my name and the word Photo, to mimic my slight zany and whimsical personality.

It wouldn't be long after that I would move to Ohio and get to know several in the Cincinnati photo world and at my local camera store, ProCam.
The great folks at ProCam invited and encouraged me to attend CickCon that summer in Chicago. While there I met some of the MOST WONDERFULLY talented, professional and amateur photographers and models and was introduced to the Director, Sherry Haggerman of Allusion Photography and the amazing Scott Robert Lim. It wasn't long before someone noted my personality and energy and referred to me as the "ShutterSquirrel". The name stuck and ever since, I have embraced it as a moniker and an incorporation into my "personal" logo.

I owe so much of my success and my ability to come through those difficult times that led me to photography, and even since, to Sherry, Scott, Tony Corbell, Peter Hurley, the guys and gals of ProCam and all the amazing and wonderful people I've met along the way.

It is my hope and my goal to be an inspiration to others as they have been to me and to utilize not just a silly and energetic personality to draw others from anything that may be holding them back, but to be there, as these fine people have been there for me along with countless others, and maybe, just maybe, teach/encourage you in your artistic endeavors and/or work together with you as we magically freeze time, create lasting memories and spread smiles and joy to others.
