Dexter Needs a Home

This past weekend I had a unique and wonderful opportunity to meet with the staff at Friends of Linda L. Kelley Animal Shelter in Calvert County Maryland.
I was there discussing the opportunity to do their “Santa Paws” on December 8th, 2022 and got the pleasure of meeting one of their Staff Favorites, “Dexter”.
Dexter is originally from “across the pond”. As I understand it, he is Internationally micro-chipped and is current on all of his health needs. I’m not sure his exact age, but he has the vibrant personality of a loyal and steadfast friend with a playful heart. He loves to talk when he’s excited and is easily settled if he begins “talking too much” (if only I could learn that trick - LOL). He has obviously had extensive training and knows how to “heal/sit/stay” and more without a lead.
Unfortunately, shortly after arriving Stateside, Dexter’s owner fell ill and was no longer to give him the care and attention he needed and deserved. The owners knew that FOLLKAS would certainly find him the best “Forever Home” so that his personality and playful demeanor could continue to thrive and add joy to those around him.
Best wishes Dexter! I know there are many out there that would love to make you a member of their family and I can’t wait to hear how you add joy and laughter in your future travels.
